Having worked as a freelancer for more than three years, I decided to venture into the corporate area. I recently joined Promantra, a company specializing in backend health care services. My first assignment was redesigning the website.

Working as a in house developer is quite different than what I used to do before. You keep on getting updates every hour, and the major factor with the development factor was, you need to have a majority of persons working in your organization to approve the design. This was quite a change, as I was used to interacting with one or two people who had the decision making powers with the design. So you shall have to be a bit careful of venturing into a design that has elements that are out of ordinary.

Over all it was fun doing the project, and I am trying to dig my feet more into the organization.
